About Holmes and King Law
We are a small firm of experienced lawyers formed in 1993 and dedicated to serving our clients in a professional, thoughtful, practical and cost effective manner.
Three of our four lawyers graduated from U.B.C. law school together in 1981, having each established an excellent academic record. Rob Holmes and Leslie Muir clerked for the B.C. Court of Appeal after law school and gained valuable insights into how cases were presented and judged. Rob Holmes pursued graduate studies in law at Yale Law School and obtained his LL.M. in 1984. After practicing in different firms for several years, Terry King, Rob Holmes and Leslie Muir became associated again in Holmes & King. Since 2000, they have worked together at Holmes & King with John Bilawich, who graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1991.
Our lawyers recognize that each client brings a unique set of strengths and issues. Many clients come to us directly, while others come to us as referrals from other members of the legal profession. Whether on a transactional or ongoing basis, we tailor our services to suit our client’s best interests and needs.
We have experience in cases large and small and use technology and other resources to ensure legal services are efficiently and effectively provided.
